The benefits of sound are many

but I want to tell you

about the ones

that are NOT

talked about ….

By now we probably have all heard that the benefits of sound therapy include relief from:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Insomnia
  • Fatigue
  • Brain Fog

Many times where the main stream health care fails these above symptoms, alternative approaches like sound therapy can help. But why is that? Unlike mainstream practices that remedy the symptom, alternative approaches like sound therapy go to the root or cause of the symptom. This makes all the difference. So the benefits of sound go way deeper than symptom relief, they go into reconnecting the body and being as a whole system that is one with its creator. Instead of symptom relief one gets a reset.

Deeper benefits of sound

Sound especially sound with intention and specifically intentional sound from  your voice is deeply healing. It is healing to  our deepest wound of separation. When you take a breath you take in Universal life force energy also called Prana or Chi/ Qi or reiki. This sacred energy through the breath meets the physical body as it goes past the vocal chords. When the intention to make sound happens a vibration feeds the body.  Vibration is a movement that processes energy. When that vibration has an intention for emotional or mental processing, the denser vibrational frequencies start to move faster and release. Thereby no longer being stagnant in the body causing tension and discomfort.

With this in mind these are benefits of sound when it comes through intentional vocal sound:

  • Subconscious detox
  • Shifts Emotional blocks
  • Clears out dated thoughts /beliefs
  • Deep Presence and Peace
  • Oneness with Source
  • Clarity of purpose
  • Personal freedom
  • Illuminated Joy
  • Clear open chakras for channelling light
  • Crystal clear intuition

How to practice with voice

One of the easiest ways to practice to get the benefits of sound with voice is to do an “emptying” process.  Emptying refers to detoxing and processing the denser frequencies that you feel in the form of feeling, thoughts and emotions.  If you empty them each day they will not build up. If you empty them and are open to the message they are giving you that is even better.  You see thoughts, feelings and emotions are indicators that we had an awareness/ intuition but we ignored it.

How to empty

Upon waking and going to bed, tune into any energy you feel that is not peace (love & joy).  It can feel like a dense heaviness say in your chest or throat, or it can be in your head as an emotional reaction and thought.   When you access it, acknowledge and feel it fully. Then surrender your voice to that sensation or emotion.  Let out a grown, hum or vowel tone.  “Empty” the energy of this feeling, thought or emotion through vocal sound until you notice the voice getting clearer.  Thats it.

Deep letting go

When you deeply release, process and let go of the energies of feelings, emotions and thoughts,  you also are release the root cause of many physical tensions and symptoms as well. While it nice to say the the benefits of sound are to relieve anxiety and mental health issues. I feel it is even better to  know that the root of those challenges has been processed as well.  A pretty song can relax you in the moment.  Deep processing with intentional vocal sound can create a lasting relief.

If you are interested in support with this emptying process, I share it in my Be Sung Training.

If you would like a more personal vibrational reset, my ALIGN program can support you.
